Painters

Painting is the real work. Painters set their own prices and keep them. On top of that price, and paid by the buyer, sit two small cuts: B&B 8% and the model's designer 4%.

How to become one

Paint a piece, photograph it and post it on that model's page with the photo type “Painted” or “Finished”. It shows right away, and every Painted or Finished display photo that shows counts: nobody has to approve it first. 3 of them across at least 1 model and you can set prices and take commissions.

To print the piece yourself as well as paint it, you also need 1 accepted print verification.

What it pays
  • Commissions: your own price, in full. The buyer pays B&B 8% and the designer 4% on top of it.
  • Painted stock: list a piece you already painted and hold, at your price plus your shipping, with the same two cuts on top.
  • An accepted painted photo pays 100 tokens ($1.00).
  • The top-voted photo of a model earns its painter 5% of that model's print and file sales after that.
Earnings are held in dollars and cashed out from $50, or converted to tokens.
How a commission pays outThe buyer pays everything up front. Your price is released in stages, each unlocked by a photo a moderator accepts.

Nobody is painting for hire yet. The first accepted painted photos decide who is.
